Applications are invited on a rolling basis from candidates interested to do an internship with the Chair in February 2025-March 2025. About Us The Chair on Consumer Law and Practice Chair (CLAP Chair) was established at NLSIU in August 2008 by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, to promote research, teaching and training in Consumer Law and Practice. The Chair acts as a “Think Tank” for the Research and Policy related issues on Consumer Law and Practice. Vacancy: 2 Responsibility:

  • Interns will assist in the research activities of the Chair.
Eligibility: 1) Internship is open to students from recognized Law Institutions and Universities 2) Students pursuing following courses can apply:
  • Second and third year of the Bachelor’s degree in Law (3 year course after graduation), or
  • Fourth and final year of the integrated five-year course in Law
  • LLM Students
  • B.A. programme in any University in India
  • Research Scholars and Practitioners may also apply
Desired/Preferred Qualification:
  • Proficiency in Kannada
  • Prior experience of research and editing in relevant area.
  • Strong writing skills
Duration: The Internship shall be for a minimum period of one month Stipend of Rs. 10,000 will be paid on successful completion and at the end of internship. How to apply?
