National Webinar on “Build Capacity for States/UTs towards Implementation of Direct Selling Rules, 2021”

The Chair on Consumer Law and Practice (CLAP), NLSIU, Bangalore in collaboration with Indian Direct Selling Association (IDSA) has been working towards effective implementation of the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021. Chair on Consumer Law and Practice organized the National Webinar with an objective to facilitate sharing of experience and evolve through discussions, efficacious recommendations to strengthen India’s Direct Selling Industry for achieving better implementation and align with the Central Government’s view of establishment of a Monitoring Mechanism for the States/UTs to monitor or supervise the activities of direct sellers and direct selling entity. Hon’ble Nidhi Khare, Additional Secretary, MoCA, GoI, was invited as the Chief Guest to grace the event.
